Approximately 20 km north of Eilat, "Ramon" Eilat Airport, named after Ilan and Assaf Ramon, located on Route 90, opposite Beer Ora, caters for domestic and international flights. Ramon International Airport Eilat, is the second largest airport in the State of Israel and provides an alternative solution to Ben Gurion airport. The airport has 60 parking spaces, a 3.6 km long landing strip, allowing the landing and take off of varied types of aircraft, a control tower, energy centre, operational areas and an innovative and spacious terminal. Airport services include an information desk, James Richardson Duty-Free, foreign currency exchange, National Tourism desk, first aid services, Israel Police Civilian Services desk, internet access, a synagogue and a lounge.
